Biscoff Delight - Everyone in the U.A.E is aware of how famous the lotus biscoff biscuits have become lately. Every cake/ice cream/dessert has a new lotus flavour in it! So I couldnt stop myself from trying out this amazing dessert as soon as I saw it online! It is really simple to prepare. and hardly takes a few minutes. If you cannot find these biscuits and the lotus spread, you can switch it using any regular biscuits(sweet) and a caramel syrup in place of the lotus spread. So here goes, Biscoff delight, Do give it a try and let me know how it turns out. Biscoff Delight Serves - 8-10 Duration - 20 mins(prep time) 6 hours (setting time)
Ingredients 1. Biscoff Biscuits - 2 big packets ( nearly 24 biscuits, depending on the size of the setting tray) 2. Thick or Heavy cream - 600 ml 3. Vanille essence - 1/2 tsp 4. Sugar- 1 tbsp 5. Biscoff lotus spread - almost 1/4 of the jar
Method - Step 1
Place the thick cream, vanilla essence and sugar in a deep bowl, and whip it for a few minutes until soft.
Keep the biscoff spread jar in the microwave, (make sure you remove the foil covering) for 30 seconds. This will make the consistency thinner.
step 2
Now layer the biscoff biscuits , at the bottom of the setting tray.
Next layer a generous amount of thick cream mixture.
Now drizzle some biscoff spread on top.
Repeat the steps again, by layering the biscuits on top ,
Make sure you have atleast two or three layers with the top most layer being cream.
Step 3 Garnishing
Place some biscoff spread in piping bag and pipe lines on top of the cream horizontally, Use a skewer and make lines vertically, in both directions. (Pushing lines up and then down)
Crush biscoff biscuits, and place around the edges of the dish.
